Peewee 1 wins Division Title

Congratulations to the Strongsville Youth Hockey Club Peewee 1 Team for an outstanding 2024–25 season, culminating in a CSHL 12U A1 Division title! Throughout 14 games, the Mustangs put together a remarkable 11-1-2 record, securing 24 points and a league-leading 0.857 points percentage (P%)—enough to finish at the very top of the standings.

Season Highlights:

 • High-Octane Offense: With 64 goals for, the Mustangs scored more than any other team in the division. This balanced attack consistently pressured opponents and turned close contests into convincing victories.

 • Rock-Solid Defense: Strongsville conceded just 28 goals all season, giving them a healthy +36 goal differential—also the best in the division. The defense and goaltending stood tall, holding some of the league’s fiercest scorers at bay.

 • Special Teams & Discipline: Allowing only 3 power play goals against, the Mustangs showed off a strong penalty kill whenever they were short-handed. Their 35 penalty minutes also attest to their disciplined style of play, keeping them out of the box more often than many of their rivals.

 • Consistency from Start to Finish: Whether it was a one-goal nail-biter or a high-scoring affair, the team demonstrated poise under pressure and closed out games to stay ahead in the standings.
